Why do you have so many Karaoke songs that are duplicated?
Different manufacturers try to re-create the songs as best as they can and people have learned usually by trial and error, which company they prefer, so in trying to accommodate people and their quest for a good performance, some of the most popular songs have been acquired just for that purpose.

What does SC Karaoke or CB Karaoke mean in the song title listing?
As mentioned earlier, there are well over 200 different companies that have their mark in the Karaoke Industry, and each one uses a different basic 'code' for disc identification. These 2 for example are: Sound Choice and Chartbusters.

Can we adjust our pitch for our Karaoke songs?
Yes, please let your host know up or down and how many (up to 4) and we'll get your sorted right away. Trust me, we get it. NOT all of us can sing like Mariah Carey or Steven Tyler and hit those seriously high notes.

Can I bring my own Karaoke music to play and perform?
Yes. Your Host would prefer it already being in digital format (song.mp3+cdg files) on a flash drive IF at all possible. Not all Karaoke CDs can be read by all CD players.

Why are some of the Karaoke songs pixelated and sometimes unreadable?
This usually means that in the process of conversion to a digital format from the original physical one, that the data became corrupted or was already corrupted or damaged before the conversion took place. This does not always show up during a test run, and we end up having to replace the disc and/or files.

Why don't you have a Karaoke songbook available?
We do; it's just not on printed paper. it is all online. Unfortunately, this is good and bad, but since we have a very large listing of songs and artists, in a lot of cases, it might be just as easy to ask your host about songs/artists available.

How do I request a song to be played for either DJ or Karaoke songs?
There should be song request slips for Karaoke songs available for everyone to use. OR just step up to your Host and ask. We want to accommodate everyone as much as possible. If we don't have a song, we will let you know and try our best to get it for you by the next performance.
